Great post, very interesting. Like it a lot.
One of the key things where many Startups fail is the cost/profit and proper price calculation.
So they have a genius idea and a strong motivation, but since everything is new to them, they have no idea about what to charge for their products. If it‘s too low, they gonna work themselves to death; if it‘s too high, no customers. A good starting point is to check your competition and charge a little less. But take care and make really sure that you can make that price. Work not only on saving like cracy, but as well on the processes that will allow you to make that price and survive. Keep in mind that it takes 20 years to build a reputation, and 5 minutes to ruin it. A Startup has no reputation at all, and so, it takes a lot of time to build a brand, the desire, and the reputation that will bring you thousands of customers comes in at last, or never.
Define a company ethics that fits your belief and let your culture develop by following that ethcis yourself, whatever you produce or what services you are offering, by any means. The stronger the guiding light, the larger the audience it can reach, and the stronger the magnet, the larger the power that your personal fan crowd can generate. In 21st century, it‘s our culture that separates us from competition. Laptops we got all.
At Dynamic Applications, our culture is based on Transparency, Privacy protection, and Participation.
And so, we build Startup Business Planners that are self-explaining, they gather no data at all, and we let the people decide about the best ideas to simulate, and the platform roadmap, in turns. It‘s free of charge, but the professional simulation builder is 25 Euro (our Apps offer all functionality for specific Startups, and they‘re micro-payment, and there‘s traditional freeware and free promo codes on Twitter). So that’s Participation.
So if they vore fun, we build fun, and if they vote seriously, we build serious solutions.
There are sacrifices, you know. I sold my car in 2017.
But if you look at it over time, it’s growing like crazy.
Founder of Dynamic Applications.
Imagine you are assigned to a team that will start and run a new venture for your company. You and your team are entrusted with funding to obtain a facility, manufacture products, hire employees, and market and sell your products. You and your team must decide everything from product pricing, to taking loans for improvements and paying expenses as you work toward the goal of building equity and net worth.
You make mistakes along your journey and in doing so learn firsthand why “cash is king” and how your venture can be profitable while tottering on the brink of bankruptcy. And while you and your team benefit from these valuable business experiences, you are never in danger of financial ruin or suffering the many other life-changing pitfalls of running a business.
Welcome to the world of simulation business training.

This is a resolution for a global, participative, fair, even, and conditionless Basic Ground Income, also called Universal Basic Income.

This is a very interesting article by Wang Zhao about fundamental blocks of System Dynamics archetypes in elaborated detail, posted by @YoungModeler.
For everyone new to the topic, a simple overview of the basic feedback loops that are common to Business Model Generation as well can be found on Wikipedia’s article about System Archetypes. As well, the basic picture of those interacting Problems-and-Success Models can be found within each Dynamic Application.
Building World Models, altogether. A great topic to discuss.
I found that management picutre on German Wikipedia, translated the picture to English, called it “Balanced Scorecard – Management”, and added that picture to the top right icons in Dynamic Applications. Finally, i’ve uploaded it to the english article on System Archetypes at Wikipedia. Where it resides until today.
How could such archetypes or “building blocks” be incorporated with Dynamic Applications? – your suggestions are highly appreciated.
For everyone interested in more detailed building blocks, see PDF Attachment at the bottom of the article by @YoungModeler, reblogged below.

Modellers face a problem: Too few of their models ever get reused. Meanwhile, many projects start by building a new model from scratch requiring plenty of research to conceptualize the model structure. If we see these two aspects from the perspective of ‘supply’ and ‘demand’, is there any ‘mismatch’ in between that hinders models from reuse? If so, what could be the reason?

not even having a laptop our pc.
if you ask me, we should do something about that.
maybe you can’t decide, if it’s enough (from a global perspective),
but you can decide, if it’s enough. just for you. so if you wanna startup and you wish to grow, we can only recommend to start your new life and drive the world forward.
it’s our culture that defines us, and so it defines our expansion and success over time.
Interesting idea of founding a network of people supporting each other in working for or towards a better world for everyone, as i understand it.
In the ages of rage and fake news, has a lot of potential.
Seems to be in line with the Ethics or Culture of The Sharing Economy.
Find joy, fun, and a small income by working for the people, not the bank account. In being founders, this also means that we have to work ourselves up from crap, towards beauty and reduction and excellence. There’s so many powerful tools out there, but only the best ones get the point of finding a measure for excellence, not massivity of overloading features.
If we want to reach many people, remember there are more than 4.000.000.000 people out there who haven’t even got the money for an old Laptop or PC. Maybe the greatest potential of enthusiastic followers in the whole world, not only for a process democracy project.
So i’m not sure if i follow that project 100% here, but it seems to have something.
Be invited to make up your own mind about it. Would be great to hear a few opinions.
Let’s not forget in being base democrats, our mission is to empower the people, not the next king of the world. We the people, united in online democracy, with a same value of 1 for every person on earth. Fair right of participation, as a basic requirement for justice and chances for a successful life, in all its decent modesty. Sharing is Caring.
If we follow that guideline, all is fine. Nothing is perfect today, but we are targeting something, here: a better world for everyone. So what are you working on, today?

The pursuance system is the world’s first comprehensive framework for process democracy. That is, it allows individuals with no prior relationship to self-organize into robust, agile entities governed via a “proceduralism of agreement.” These entities, called pursuances, in turn engage and collaborate among themselves to whatever extent they choose, leading ultimately to a vast and formidable ecosystem of opposition to institutionalized injustice. (Excerpt from Project description)
This system will be populated on an invitation basis, beginning towards the end of 2017. But Barrett has initiated a collaboration with Pirate Parties International. Raymond Johansen, activist and member of the board of PPI is now in the process of populating several rooms in Mattermost, soon to begin onboarding people into an alpha version of the Pursuance System. PPI’s usage of and feedback on the software will help Pursuance’s software developers…

a wonderful Blogpost by Simple Ula:
it reminds us that everyone’s time on this planet is limited, and how important it is to use your time in a useful manner.
considering how young the author actually is, the more extraordinary are her remarks.
At Dynamic Applications, we develop a series of small business planners that are free of charge. and so, we follow the target of supporting our fancrowd in a pursuit of happiness.
i’m not competing with you.
i hope we all make it.
We look towards the future with optimism. We note down destinations we want to visit, we plan out the perfect life, and we (secretly) decide on baby names long before meeting our future spouse.
It is vital to plan for the future, but that time seems so far away, and so sometimes we believe that it can wait until tomorrow, next month, even next year. Yet, putting off these plans doesn’t always work out. We all know how quickly life can spin on its head, so being prepared is something that needs to be considered.
