a few thoughts on Climate justice.

worldwide_growth_of_forest_snow_logo_48x48

The 21st century worldwide growth of forest simulation is much about thinking about the consequences of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Thinking over Time.

This article was formerly published as The 21st century worldwide growth of Forest product.

However, we have decided for smaller, more reasonable official product publications. The reasoning shall be relatively short there, and further thoughts and personal opinions around the topic shall be written in Logbook Articles. So that people downloading our software can follow and develop their own thoughts, and are not mislead too far by mine, on the product page.

So from 2020, in the Logbook of Dynamic Applications, we shall concern ourselves with Articles, Short Stories, Essays and Noteworthy Thoughts around Values and Targets, as well around Society, Politics, Democracy, Law and Order, Targets in Life, and finally, Sustainable Thinking.

As that’s what we learn from working with, working on Dynamic Applications.

Transparency. Privacy Protection. and Participation. our values.

The assembly shall decide:

The Pirate Party of NRW is committed to basic human rights such as the right to life, participation, physical integrity, water, bread, family, a reasonably modest accommodation, and equal opportunity.

In the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, including the associated islands and lakes, each person shall be granted an appropriate right to life, opportunity and participation who reaches this country, or who has taken refuge on a boat. In this respect, we ask to prohibit immoral minimum wages which come close to national socialism.

how to define a conditionless, financeable Universal Basic Income.

we define a conditionless, financiable Universal European Basic Income.

dna_logo_dark_96x48

it may sound impossible, but neither it is impossible, nor does it have to be fictional, ridiculous, unrealistic, oder have to be a neo-communist approach. Just requires a bit of modesty, good-will, and a smart approach where we trade, we balance nature’s benefit against poverty and neglecting, selfish behavior of the super posh and shiny super rich.

Let’s calculate a simple, financiably viable UBI (BGE) of 400 Euro/month for the 4-person family.

about a flower.

a very old poem that i wrote back in 1994 for Sonja Rajin from Belgrade, Serbia, Claudia Pramono from Jakarta, Indonesia, Sabrina Geissler, Germany, EU and Florence Gadeyne, France, EU. whom i met all four, later in my life, personally.

Claudia in Jakarta, Sonja and Florence in London, at Suede’s final show in London’s ICA, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, as they gad called that venue. In that very week, Suede played all Tracks from their first 5 albums: Suede, Dog Man Star, Coming Up, Head Music, A New Morning, in chronological order, one for each day. It was awesome. We have even met the band after the show, one day. Only Sabrina i have met again, later, as she was living nearby.

Our Band’s called Suede, of Brett Anderson and Richard Oakes, Mat Osman, Neil Codling, and Simon Gilbert, the drummer, and it was my favourite back then im time. Sabrina i met near the place, where i lived, at her own birthday’s party where i was taken by a friend. Paderborn, Riemekeviertel. The Street i lived within then was called Bernhard-K-Street, at Nr. 91. 5 guys studying information theory had rented 1 family house. Looking back, That was a really amazing time.

..

What a great, what a great Party time that was. In being so utterly lonely, Information Theory nerds, you know, we invited about all Students from that very Town we knew, literally. It didn’t help me to get some woman, at all. So when i met your mother, Lukas, years gone by bye, at WestFriedHof, near SWM HQ, StadtWerke Munich, where i’ve been working for Town’s infrastructure, my deputy. ‘Miss you so much. Cu, in due t, ‘Sir. U2.

When i met your mother, we went to a Depeche Mode concert, in Olympiastadion.

Dave Gahan, Andrew Fletcher, and Sir Martin Gore.

we were founding a family, back then.

Depeche Mode, Munich, Olympique Stadium. 13.06.2009.

on that very day, that was how i met your mother, young guy.

and that was all right, small Pirate’s child. To found a family, that was alright.

..

miss you so much, my little sun .. @mydarkstar .., your father.

..

so anyway, just in case anyone should ever find this very lonely written, fine page in the large, deep blue sea of what we call The Internet some day, here’s that poem, back from 1994. One of my first ever attempts in writing.

enjoy.

Key Insights You Will Gain After Running a Simulated Company.

Great post, very interesting. Like it a lot.

One of the key things where many Startups fail is the cost/profit and proper price calculation.

So they have a genius idea and a strong motivation, but since everything is new to them, they have no idea about what to charge for their products. If it‘s too low, they gonna work themselves to death; if it‘s too high, no customers. A good starting point is to check your competition and charge a little less. But take care and make really sure that you can make that price. Work not only on saving like cracy, but as well on the processes that will allow you to make that price and survive. Keep in mind that it takes 20 years to build a reputation, and 5 minutes to ruin it. A Startup has no reputation at all, and so, it takes a lot of time to build a brand, the desire, and the reputation that will bring you thousands of customers comes in at last, or never.

Define a company ethics that fits your belief and let your culture develop by following that ethcis yourself, whatever you produce or what services you are offering, by any means. The stronger the guiding light, the larger the audience it can reach, and the stronger the magnet, the larger the power that your personal fan crowd can generate. In 21st century, it‘s our culture that separates us from competition. Laptops we got all.

At Dynamic Applications, our culture is based on Transparency, Privacy protection, and Participation.

And so, we build Startup Business Planners that are self-explaining, they gather no data at all, and we let the people decide about the best ideas to simulate, and the platform roadmap, in turns. It‘s free of charge, but the professional simulation builder is 25 Euro (our Apps offer all functionality for specific Startups, and they‘re micro-payment, and there‘s traditional freeware and free promo codes on Twitter). So that’s Participation.

So if they vore fun, we build fun, and if they vote seriously, we build serious solutions.

There are sacrifices, you know. I sold my car in 2017.
But if you look at it over time, it’s growing like crazy.

Martin Bernhardt,
Founder of Dynamic Applications.

You Don’t Want to Build All Models from Scratch, Do You?

This is a very interesting article by Wang Zhao about fundamental blocks of System Dynamics archetypes in elaborated detail, posted by @YoungModeler.

For everyone new to the topic, a simple overview of the basic feedback loops that are common to Business Model Generation as well can be found on Wikipedia’s article about System Archetypes. As well, the basic picture of those interacting Problems-and-Success Models can be found within each Dynamic Application.

Building World Models, altogether. A great topic to discuss.

I found that management picutre on German Wikipedia, translated the picture to English, called it “Balanced Scorecard – Management”, and added that picture to the top right icons in Dynamic Applications. Finally, i’ve uploaded it to the english article on System Archetypes at Wikipedia. Where it resides until today.

How could such archetypes or “building blocks” be incorporated with Dynamic Applications? – your suggestions are highly appreciated.

For everyone interested in more detailed building blocks, see PDF Attachment at the bottom of the article by @YoungModeler, reblogged below.

Modellers face a problem: Too few of their models ever get reused. Meanwhile, many projects start by building a new model from scratch requiring plenty of research to conceptualize the model structure. If we see these two aspects from the perspective of ‘supply’ and ‘demand’, is there any ‘mismatch’ in between that hinders models from reuse? If so, what could be the reason?
