Vor etwa drei Jahren hat mir der erste Kunde erzählt, die einfachen Systeme sind ja angeschafft. Also jeder hat sich so ungefähr für alle wichtigen Aufgaben Software gekauft. Und dann meinte er, die Kunden werden ja schlauer. Früher, da hat jede Fachabteilung gekauft, was sie haben wollte. Einfach durchgesetzt.

Heute gilt: Software, die nicht ins Unternehmensnetz passt, hat keine Chance mehr. Bei Neuanschaffung muss er jetzt die IT anfragen. Denn jetzt, im nächsten Schritt, zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts, wird Software verschiedener Hersteller und Systeme verbunden: weil es Synergie bringt, Arbeitszeit spart, Fehler vermeidet, und ganz neue Möglichkeiten erschafft.

Tja, da hat er Recht gehabt.
